Where in The House to Put Your Billiard Table

Where to begin?  First of all almost any room in the house will do.  It comes down to 2 things.  First, where can I add a pool table?  Second, what else goes into the room besides the pool table?

Where do you like to spend the most time in your house?  The family room?  The outdoor screened in patio?  The garage?  The basement?   The man cave?  All these are good places to hang out.  For me right now it’s the family room because of the place I love in.  If I had a bigger house I would build me an man cave no question I would set up my pool table there.  I have seen people have their pool tables set up in the garage, the basement and the family room, or a man cave if you got one.  Most places in your home will work.  The one thing you need to ask yourself is do I want to be playing billiards? Where the whole family is too?  Or do I want to have a place where I can escape from the family.  Personally I want to have a place to escape from the family for a little bit.  Some rooms might be a bit crowded if you try to add a pool table to it.  The biggest factor to where in the house to put your pool table is the layout out of your home.  You do not want to be hitting the walls while you are playing.  Most homes have a family and a living room.  Some might have a basement.   If those are my choices I prefer to have a basement because it will not make a family room or living room too crowded, It is out of the way.  It is away from the family, but still close enough were you can be found if needed.  Also in the basement you can actually turn some of that basement into your Man Cave.

Second what kind of things will be in the room besides a pool table?  You will need some billiard equipment like cues, cue stands (either wall cue stands or floor cue stands, wall cue stands will give you more room to play), pool table cover, billiard ball set, and so on.   If you are like me then you would want some room to play billiards so your cue stick is not hitting the walls and making it tougher to play.  If you are sports fan then you can get your billiard equipment of your favorite sports team.  Now if you want a real nice game room like I would want then you will might want a small bar with a fridge for drinks, some music, a TV (to watch ESPN or other sports).    I would also love to have ATM (the TV show Tanked) come in and build me a fish tank for my game room too.  The nice thing about the basement or a man cave is that you can put in there what you like.  So good luck in finding a place in your home to play billiards.  If you need billiard supplies check out bestbilliardsonline.com
